Are you scared to Buy a Home?

I have heard from some people that they are actually scared to buy a home for one reason or another. I want to ease your fears by explaining why it is not as scary as you think.

I have heard people say that they do not think they can qualify for a home loan. But how do you know until you try? Some lenders offer home loan programs to people with a credit score as low as 580. Most lenders will go over your credit situation with you and get you on the right track.

I think the fear comes from the unknown. It’s best to contact a local real estate agent to go over the home buying process in detail. A real estate agent can help you get in contact with a lender to get you qualified for a home loan. They will work with you throughout the entire process. Keep in mind you do not have to pay a real estate agent when buying a home. The seller’s of the home pay the real estate agent their commission. So you have nothing to lose!

Are you worried about buying a house with a lot of problems? Before you buy a home you can have a home inspection. A home inspection will give you an indepth look at the home and any issues that it may have. If you find that the home has too many problems you do not have to buy it.

Do you fear being able to make the house payments? If you are paying rent you are already used to making those monthly payments. A lender can tell you the price of home to look for to keep the same monthly payment that you are used to making. Instead of paying rent to a landlord you will pay toward your very own home!

I know it can seem scary to buy a home, but it’s really not! Buying a home is a smart investment and you will be glad you took that leap of faith.
